My friend, Buster Jones, is one of Lubbock's talented sculptors. The bronze couger that graces our living room is all the more precious to us because it was a gift.  Buster's comments on the piece:

"And yes, it does have a story with it. It was for a little girl who was gravely ill. Her father owned one of my major pieces in San Antonio. She did recover. She called it her lucky bronze. She loved cats, and she put it where he could watch over her. " ,"
